Covered Walkways and Linkways
A dry sheltered walkway may be all that is needed to encourage customers to venture outside to the furthermost areas of your garden centre.
Steel Walkways
With modern Steel framed retail buildings and canopy areas now dominant in many garden centres, walkways are ideal to direct customer flow to outside retail areas in the dry.

To keep the merchandise area clear and spacious, rectangular under gutter beams to allow post spacings over 5m giving increased access throughout.
With the increased canopy areas of many garden centres, fire regulations now dictate the use of flame retardant cladding materials; Our super smooth flame retardant PVC in either natural or white finish is acrylic coated for long life; A Polybuild structure in this material will look very smart and with the anti-wicking internal yarns will ensure a clean appearance is maintained.

Timber Walkways
Although Steel walkways are effective, the journey to outside retail areas requires a level of harmony that timber walkways can provide.
Polybuild timber walkways and canopies have the appearance of ‘all timber’ yet the posts and horizontal beams are of ‘composite construction’ with a steel core encased by timber. This not only makes the posts and beams immensely strong but also prevents any distortion and cracking which can occur in an ‘all timber’ framework.

To ensure quality, Polybuild now manufactures it’s own pressure formed laminated timber arches to suit each order and reduce lead times significantly.
Our walkways will accommodate sloping ground and can be joined to other walkways to suit each customer.

Material options include green tinted or clear woven polythene for a softer look to harmonise with plant stock or white Nicotarp or flame retardant PVC to suit your house or corporate colours.
Polybuild timber walkways will add a rustic look to your garden centre and can be supplied for self-assembly or fully installed.
