Other Uses

This is a section for tunnels and tunnel uses that don't fit the other classifications. There are many different jobs that a tunnel can perform just by making simple changes to the structure.

Water Treatment Works

Tunnels have been used for drying slurry. Another example of use was in a water treatment works, a netting covered structure to prevent leaves entering a filtration tank.

Industrial

Many other uses can be made of our structures. From storage area or workshops, from garages to boat yards, permanent and temporary, whatever your industry, we are up to the challenges you can give to us.

Car Valeting / Display areas

A simple and effective method to increase garage space without the huge investment in building. This structure separates washing and polishing areas. We have found that diffused polythene highlights blemishes on car paintwork better than in sunlight or under artificial light.

Energy Production

Disaster Housing

As Polybuild tunnels can be manufactured and dispatched quickly, they can be used as temporary shelter in areas where there has been a natural disaster.
