Benching / Staging
With growing space at a premium, a benching system can pay for itself very quickly by using more of the available area and improving crop quality. Mobile benches can increase the cropping area by up to 30% and help improve profitability.
Polybuild static benches are extremely strong and can be "free standing" with height adjustable feet to accommodate uneven floors. Mobile benches must be bolted down or concreted into the ground.

Polybuild's benches are particularly easy and fast to build as the benches are assembled via nut and bolt connections and 'Tek' screws; no drilling is required.
Benches are supplied with a choice of top to suit your application.
- Polystyrene with capillary matting is the most popular to allow plants to take water as they need it.
- Weldmesh provides a sterile environment and "air prunes" the roots.
- Flood tops give the best of both but are more expensive, requiring a tank, pump and water dosing equipment, yet this may be good as a long term investment.
